Bellona Wellness for Women

Scope: Brand identity development, visual system design, and foundational brand assets for a modern women’s wellness practice centered on strength, empowerment, and elevated care.

Bellona (bell-ON-ah) Wellness for Women was created as a new kind of women’s healthcare experience in Springfield, blending clinical expertise with a refined, spa-like environment. Working closely with Dr. Rooney-Thompson, the vision was to reimagine women’s healthcare as something patients look forward to. Calm, elevated, and thoughtfully designed, without sacrificing medical credibility.

Inspired by Bellona, the Roman goddess of war, the brand balances strength with softness. It pairs a sense of power and trust with an experience that feels welcoming and restorative.

I led the creative direction and design of the brand identity, crafting a visual system that feels elevated, confident, and distinctly different from traditional healthcare aesthetics. The identity avoids overly soft or expected visual cues, instead leaning into a refined, modern expression that supports both the clinical and spa-like aspects of the practice.

This work included:

  • Brand typography and color palette

  • Foundational brand guidelines

  • Digital and print-ready assets

The resulting brand positions Bellona Wellness for Women as a distinctive, high-end presence in women’s health, designed to resonate with patients seeking both empowerment and a more comfortable, elevated care experience.
